We specialise exclusively in live virtual Mental Health First Aid training, delivered by experienced instructors via Zoom. This modern approach provides all the interaction and depth of a traditional classroom environment - without the travel, venue costs, or logistical challenges.
Every year, we train thousands of learners across the UK through our highly engaging virtual MHFA courses, which include group discussions, scenario-based practice, and real-time support from your instructor. Our consistent results and learner feedback are why we’re recognised as the UK’s leading independent provider of Mental Health First Aid Training.
With our flexible online format, your team can access nationally accredited MHFA qualifications from anywhere, while still receiving the same expert guidance and personalised experience you’d expect from an in-person course.

Our virtual delivery model combines the convenience of online learning with the interactivity of a real classroom.
You’ll join a live instructor-led course on Zoom, where you can:
- Ask questions in real time
- Take part in group activities
- Practise scenarios with your trainer
- Receive immediate feedback
- Engage with peers through breakout rooms designed to mirror real workplace discussions
This format offers all the benefits of face-to-face learning while eliminating the typical barriers that come with arranging classroom-based sessions.
Through our national network of mental health first aid trainers, we can deliver your mental health first aid course on-site throughout the country. Our in-house mental health first aid training is fully accredited.
We keep our groups to a maximum of 8 learners, ensuring personalised attention, meaningful discussion, and a supportive learning environment. There is no minimum number of students required, giving you full flexibility when booking.
Booking more than 8 students? We can offer you multiple courses for a discounted rate.
The Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid is a 2-day MHFA course that provides learners with an in-depth understanding of mental health first aid training issues. This is the most comprehensive training and the ONLY MHFA course that qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider.
This course helps learners by teaching them about stress, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety that could occur in the workplace. The one-day course is advised for those who want to promote a mentally healthy work environment. You will not be eligible to be a first aider for Mental Health.
This qualification is for those aged 16 years and over who have an interest in Mental Health and would like to raise their awareness of Mental Health within the workplace and in general. You will not be eligible to be a first aider for Mental Health.
The Mental Health First Aid Refresher Course ensures that mental health first aiders and responders keep their skills fresh and maintain their confidence to perform their roles effectively.
The Youth Mental Health First Aid for Schools Course is designed to equip educators and school staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to support the mental health and well-being of young people.
If you’re used to booking classroom courses, it’s completely normal to wonder whether virtual training can genuinely offer the same value. Most people who prefer a physical classroom worry about a few common things: Will it feel engaging? Will I be able to ask questions easily? Will it feel “real” enough? Will I still get the same qualification?
Those are all valid concerns - and they’re exactly why our virtual MHFA course is designed the way it is.
Think of it as bringing the classroom directly to you, but without any of the hassle that normally comes with it. You still have a live instructor, group discussions, role-play exercises, and breakout sessions… all the elements that make MHFA so interactive. The difference is that you’re not losing half your day travelling, trying to find parking, or sitting in a room where the environment might not actually be as comfortable as you hoped.
Another big thing people realise once they try virtual learning is how much easier it is to contribute. Sensitive topics like mental health feel less intimidating when you’re in a familiar space. Learners often speak more openly and get more out of the course - something that’s not always the case in a formal classroom.
And just to be clear: the qualification you receive is exactly the same as it would be in person. You don’t lose anything by choosing virtual… but you gain a lot in terms of flexibility, comfort, and practicality.
So if your hesitation comes from wanting an engaging, human training experience, you’ll find that this format gives you everything you want from a classroom course - just in a way that fits your schedule and makes the learning even more effective.
A Laptop or Desktop Computer
A stable device with a screen large enough to view slides, join discussions, and participate in group activities. (Tablets and phones aren’t recommended because they limit interaction.)
A Webcam
This is important for creating a proper classroom feel. Being able to see each other helps with communication, trust-building, and group discussions - especially when covering sensitive mental health topics.
A Microphone
Either built-in or through a headset. Learners will be speaking with the instructor and each other throughout the course, so clear audio makes the experience smooth and engaging.
A Quiet, Comfortable Space
They don’t need anything fancy - just somewhere they won’t be disturbed. This helps them focus and makes it easier to take part in scenario work and conversations.
A Stable Internet Connection
A reliable connection ensures they can stay in the session without interruption.
